After rummaging through my head for a while, I have come up with a simple conclusion that in order to survive in this messed up, back door dealing, backstabbing entity we call the Modern World, one must be successful since the very beginning. You must succeed the first time you do anything. There is no such thing as try and try again ……. there is only get it done the first time around, don’t repeat.

The reason is quite simple, whatever you do today will bite you in the ass tomorrow. Maybe not the very next day, but rest assured your luck will run out.

Unless of course, you have someone to clear the path and clean up after you. Lets face it, the modern world is place where you have to know someone to get ahead. The whole deal with let the record speaks for itself doesn’t cut it. Why do you think you need a guarantor when you apply for your loan?

It’s just a way of saying that you need someone to back you up. Well, what if you don’t have anyone? Well, lets just say you’re fucked …….

Nothing gets done, if you don’t know anyone. Lets face it how often do you ever see someone who actually deserves a promotion get one. Not quite often, well, I’m not being bold to say that everyone who is high up on food chain doesn’t deserve to be there. It’s just that most people who are up there, have one thing in common, they are suck ups, kiss ass, or the best yet, family ……….

Now back to the main issue, being the best. Have you ever wondered why there is such a saying as, its human nature to fail, and its part of the learning process. Just remember not to do it again.

My question is, do you ever get a second chance? I mean have you ever come across where you are in the same situation twice to make the same mistake. Well, unless you’re a bad gambler then yes. Once you make an error in life, well that’s it. You are gone. Well, if you have someone backing you up, then no problem then.
